Nikola Resanovic was the recipient of the
Fortnightly Music Club of Cleveland's 2009 composer commission.
The commissioned work - a Sonata for Violin and Piano will be written
specifically for The
Cleveland Duo (Stephen Warner, violin, Carolyn Warner, piano).
The work will be premiered during the
2008-2009 concert season.

2005. The performance took place at the Millennium hotel Grand
Ballroom at 11:45am on Friday,
Feb 4, 2005 in downtown Cincinnati. The symphonic band also
performed
the work at Grove City high school and Hilliard Davidson High school.

The three movement work was written specifically for the duo and was
premiered at the 2004 International Clarifest held at the University of
Maryland in College Park on Thursday, July 22, 2004. Mr. Wright
will be premiering the composer's clarinet concerto in March of 2005.

Nikola Resanovic was the honored recipient of
the 2004
Adam M. Popovich Directors Award at this years Serbian Singing
Federation (SSF) Festival held in Cleveland, OH on May 29-30.
Four of his choral rhapsodies (Sastavs) as well as several other
Serbian choral settings by the composer were featured on the concerts
which included performances by 18 SSF choirs and the visiting Branko
Radicevic Choir of Nis, Serbia.
