Sonata for Euphonium and Piano
(2004)
A three movement work about 9 minutes in duration written in the Fall
of 2004 for Travis Scott at the University of Akron, School of Music.
The work was premiered by Mr. Scott and pianist Richard Shirey in the
Spring of 2005. The movement titles are suggestive of the musical
structures underlying the respective movements. The mp3 recording
features Travis Scott on Euphonium and Richard Shirey on Piano.
