"On Glory's Summit" is a 7 minute work for concert band
commissioned by and written for the Western Reserve Community Band of
Hudson, Ohio on the occasion of the ensemble's 10th anniversary.
The 7 minute work begins with a festive fanfare followed by a lively
section and culminates with a setting of Charles Wesley's (Lewis
Edson-Lenox) familiar hymn "Blow Ye the Trumpet". The work was
premiered at the Western Reserve Community Band's 10th anniversary
jubilee concert on Sunday, March 19, 2007 in the Hudson High School
auditorium.
